Spin and Isospin Asymmetry, Equation of State and Neutron Stars
In the present work, we have obtained the equation of state for neutron star matter considering the in uence of the ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic spin state. We have also investigated the structure of neutron stars. According to our results, the spin asymmetry stiens the equation of state and leads to high mass for the neutron star.

Quark phases in neutron stars and a " third family " of compact stars as a signature for phase transitions * Abstract The appearance of quark phases in the dense interior of neutron stars provides one possibility to soften the equation of state (EOS) of neutron star matter at high densities. This softening leads to more compact equilibrium configurations of neutron stars compared to pure hadron...

متن کاملLetter to the Editor Possible third family of compact stars more dense than neutron stars
The work of J. A. Wheeler in the mid 1960’s showed that for smooth equations of state no stable stellar configurations with central densities above that corresponding to the limiting mass of ‘neutron stars’ (in the generic sense including hybrids) were stable. Accordingly, there has been no reason to expect that a stable degenerate family of stars with higher density than the known white dwarfs...
متن کاملRecent progress on understanding “pasta” phases in dense stars
In cores of supernovae and crusts of neutron stars, nuclei can adopt interesting shapes, such as rods or slabs, etc., which are referred to as nuclear “pasta.” Recently, we have been studying the pasta phases focusing on their dynamical aspects with quantum molecular dynamic (QMD) approach. We review our findings on the following topics: dynamical formation of the pasta phases by cooling down t...
